Techniques

This section currently in work and will be updated regularly with techniques I like and techniques I use in my patterns. Please leave a comment if you'd like to see a photo tut on a technique I haven't posted yet - if I know it, and if I like it, I will gladly do it for you!

Knitted Cast On and Cable Cast On
Extremely easy allround Cast On

Provisional Crochet Cast On
In my opinion, the best and easiest provisional cast on there is.

Lateral Braid
This technique creates a decorative braid that runs horizontal around your knitting.

Duo-Colored Lateral Braid
Same as the lateral Braid, but with slight changes and done in a contrasting color.

Turkish Cast On
Very easy Cast On for toe-up socks.

Meet ACK-rylic! This is the very first yarn I ever bought. I had no idea of how much good yarn needs to cost - so I bough a 10-pack for almost no money. I knitted one project with it - and immediately tossed the finished object. This yarn is just too yucky. New knitters, let this be a lesson to you - buy good yarn, or buy no yarn at all. I still have way more of this (and other cheap yarn) in my stash than I care about, but at least it's not totally wasted - I use it whenever I need waste yarn. But I still love the color, and now, I found the perfect use - my tutorials!
